Part 1
The arctic fox lives in the Arctic tundra and sea ice where the temperature can go all the way down to -30f. The rainfall is usually under 10in.The habitat of an arctic fox can be in cold places like the Arctic and alpine tundra, in coastal areas, on ice floes, and north of the tree line were everything is covered in think white snow and has freezing temperatures. Arctic foxes keep the environment clean by eating the rodents keeping their population down and by eating different dead animals.

Part 2
Biotic factors Abiotic factors
- Snow-The fox can blend into the snow.
- temperature-When there is a super cold winter the foxes will hide in their dens and lower their metabolic rate during cold snaps and food shortages to retain heat.
- Rocks -They make their dens in rocks.
- Sun- Feeds plants which feed animals the fox eats.
Limiting factors
climate change-Melts the snow and ice where it lives.
predators-wolves, polar bears, and humans all go after artic foxes.
Disease-Rabies is the most common disease affecting foxes. Encephalitis and distemper are also fatal diseases that are more prevalent during years with high numbers of foxes. Many foxes are infected with a variety of internal and external parasites.

Negative Impacts
Hunting-For the fox’s fur.
The hunting cases have reduced but there are captive breeding programs that have helped.

climate change-Humans burning fossil fuels, cutting down forests and farming livestock.
